Accreditation

Are we CILEX accredited?
No, we are not a CILEX accredited training centre. We cannot enter you for the exams and are not formally linked to CILEX as tutors. We do believe we can offer a unique perspective on the CILEX journey however, having both trained and qualified through CILEX, both lectured CILEX topics for a number of years and both currently providing freelance tutoring services for a CILEX accredited national training provider where we were interviewed, observed and assessed by CILEX quality control as part of the provider’s successful application for CILEX accreditation.

Pricing related

How much will it cost me?
This depends on how many sessions you have and how long those sessions are.
We charge a basic hourly rate (dependent upon the level of your exams) this is then multiplied by the duration of the session and then multiplied by the number of sessions
Typical rates for private tutors are between £40 per hour and £75 per hour
Our rates are:
- £45.00 per hour for level 6 topics (Degree level and CILEX Level 6)
- £40.00 per hour for level 3 topics (A’ Level and CILEX Level 3)
Discounts are available for group bookings (more than one student) and pre-paying for a block of sessions of more than 1 month

Products and services

What products and services do you offer to students?
We offer 1 to 1 online tutoring services to all law students. This might be to support study of a full syllabus, or specific topics within a syllabus, or just some revision sessions. We tailor what we provide to what you need.

Syllabuses

What exam provider syllabuses do you provide support and tuition under?
We have provided support for A’ Level students studying on AQA, OCR, EDEXEL and WJEC. We have provided support for undergraduate students from a number of universities (both UK based and abroad). We have provided support for students studying CILEX Level 3 and Level 6 subjects.

Exam entry

Can we enter you for exams?
No. You will need to enter under your registration via your current or initial accredited providers. For queries concerning CILEX exams, these should be addressed to CILEX in the first instance.

Invoicing your employer

Can my employer pay you direct on my behalf?
Yes, we are in a number of agreements with employers who pay us monthly upfront for the session costs. We are happy to provide our invoices to them direct upon request.

Sessions

What does the online tutoring consist of?
We provide bespoke tuition based upon the target area of the learner and incorporate study skills in order to assess your progress in learning. We provide a slide deck to assist in this process a copy of which is provided to you after the session to help in your revision.
